WILL HOLLAND Y SU SONIDO QUANTICO HECHO POR BARBAROS

Will Holland tem dificuldade em classificar o som que faz. Porque no meio de tantos projetos, ele consegue misturar suas influências, que vão desde o hip-hop, salsa, reggae, dub, cumbia, afrobeat, bossa nova e house-tempo, entre outros ritmos. Will usa o codinome Quantic, e já gravou discos sob a alcunha de ‘The Quantic Soul Orchestra’, Quantic and His Combo Bárbaro’, ‘The Limp Twins’ e ‘Quantic Presenta: Flowering Inferno’.

Com ‘The Limp Twins’, Holland se une ao DJ Russ Porter, para juntos criarem um som popular com pitadas de soul music. Já em ‘The Quantic Soul Orchestra’, ele utiliza a soul music com diversas misturas, entre elas o afrobeat e a música dos Bálcãs. ‘Quantic and His Combo Bárbaro’ se vale da cumbia, da salsa, entre outros ritmos latinos, para criar uma atmosfera de festa. ‘Quantic Presenta: Flowering Inferno’ mistura cumbia com reggae e com dub, de uma forma tão natural que fica difícil imaginar como ninguém pensou nisso antes.

Mas o Holland não pára... Quando ele não está gravando ou tocando com algum desses projetos, ele grava sozinho simplesmente como Quantic ou produz discos e faixas para outros artistas, como Alice Rusell, Nickodemus e Spanky Wilson, entre outros artistas que também fazem parteda gravadora Thru Thoughts.
